Step 1
Please wash your hands. Fill the clean bottle with the designated volume of distilled, microfiltered (through 0.2 micron filter), reverse osmosis filtered, commercially bottled, or previously boiled and cooled down water.
*You may warm the water in a microwave in increments of 5 to 10 seconds to avoid overheating the water, damaging the device or scalding your nasal passage.
Step 2
Cut the Sinus Rinse™ mixture packet at the corner and pour its contents into the bottle. Tighten the cap and tube on the bottle securely. Place one finger over the tip of the cap and shake the bottle gently to dissolve the mixture. Always rinse your nasal passages with NeilMed® SINUS RINSE® packets only.
Step 3
Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head down. Keeping your mouth open, without holding your breath, place the cap snugly against your nasal passage. SQUEEZE BOTTLE GENTLY until the solution starts draining from the OPPOSITE nasal passage. Some may drain from your mouth. For a proper rinse, keep squeezing the bottle GENTLY until at least 1/4 to 1/2 (60 mL to 120 mL or 2 to 4 fl oz) of the bottle is used. Do not swallow the solution.
Step 4
Blow your nose very gently, without pinching nose completely to avoid pressure on eardrums. If tolerable, sniff in gently any residual solution remaining in the nasal passage once or twice, because this may clean out the posterior nasopharyngeal area, which is the area at the back of your nasal passage. At times, some solution will reach the back of your throat, so please spit it out. To help drain any residual solution, blow your nose gently while tilting your head forward and to the opposite side of the nasal passage you just rinsed.
Step 5
Now repeat steps 3 and 4 for your other nasal passage. Most users fi nd that rinsing twice a day is benefi cial, similar to brushing your teeth. Many doctors recommend rinsing 3-4 times daily or for special circumstances, even rinsing up to 6 times a day is safe. Please follow your physician's advice.
Step 6
Clean the bottle and cap. Air dry the Sinus Rinse™ bottle, cap, and tube on a clean paper towel, a lint free towel, or use NeilMed® NasaDOCK® or NasaDOCK plus™ (sold separately) to store the bottle, cap and tube
Please read Warnings before using. Our recommendation is to replace the bottle every three months.
USE ONLY AS DIRECTED, IF SYMPTOMS PERSIST SEE YOUR DOCTOR/HEALTHCARE PROFESSIONAL. ALWAYS READ THE LABEL.
IMPORTANT : NeilMed® Sinus Rinse™ Mixture Packets should be used with NeilMed® 240 mL (8 fl oz) NasaFlo® to achieve the best results. You may use NeilMed® packets with other irrigation devices, as long as you mix with the correct volume of water. Our recommendation is to replace Neti Pot every three months.
Step 1
Please wash your hands and rinse the device. Fill the NasaFlo® with 240 mL (8 fl oz) of lukewarm distilled, filtered or previously boiled water. Please do not use tap or faucet water to dissolve the mixture unless it has been previously boiled and cooled down. You may warm the water in a microwave, but we recommend that you warm it in increments of 5 to 10 seconds to avoid overheating, damaging the device or scalding your nasal passage.
Step 2
Cut the Sinus Rinse™ mixture packet at the corner and pour contents into the pot. Tighten the lid on the device securely. Place one finger over the hole of the cap and shake the device gently to dissolve the mixture.
Step 3
Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head to one side. Keeping your mouth open, and without holding your breath, apply the tip of the device snugly against your nasal passage and ALLOW THE SOLUTION TO GENTLY FLOW until the solution starts draining from the opposite nasal passage. Use roughly half the solution in the NasaFlo® (120 mL / 4 fl oz).
It should not enter your mouth unless you are tilting your head backwards. To adjust or stop the flow, you may place your finger over the hole of the cap, and depending on the seal, you may be able to control the flow.
For NasaFlo® users, to help drain any residual solution, blow your nose gently while tilting your head forward and to the same side of the nasal passage you just rinsed.
Step 5
Now repeat steps 3 & 4 on your other nasal passage.
If there is any solution left over, please discard it. We recommend you make a fresh solution each time you rinse. Rinse once or twice daily OR as directed by your physician.
Saline is considered safe.
The U.S. FDA is recommending that common cough and cold over the counter medicines not be given to babies and toddlers, and that antihistamines should not be given to children under age 6. NeilMed® NasaFlo®: Please clean with soap & water and let air dry.

Step 1
Please wash your hands. Remove cap and safety seal from bottle. You may warm the solution in a microwave. We recommend that you warm it in increments of five seconds. This is to avoid excessive heating of the water and damage to the device or scalding your nasal passage.
Step 2
Assemble black dome cap and tube, then tighten the cap and tube on the bottle securely.
Step 3
Standing in front of a sink, bend forward to your comfort level and tilt your head straight down. Keeping your mouth open without holding your breath, place cap snugly against your nasal passage and SQUEEZE BOTTLE GENTLY until the solution starts draining from the OPPOSITE nasal passage or from your mouth. Keep squeezing the bottle GENTLY until at least 1/4 to 1/2 (60 mL/2oz to 120 mL/4oz) of the bottle is used for a proper rinse. Do not swallow the solution.
Step 4
Blow your nose gently, without pinching your nose completely because this will apply pressure on the eardrums. If tolerable, sniff in any residual solution remaining in the nasal passage once or twice prior to blowing the nose as this may clean out the posterior nasopharyngeal area (the area at the back of your nasal passage). Some solution will reach the back of the throat, so please spit it out. To help improve drainage of any residual solution, blow your nose gently while tilting your head to the opposite side of the nasal passage that you just rinsed. Now repeat steps 2 & 3 for your other nasal passage.

For Adults and Children
Directions For NasaMist® Saline Spray:
This drug-free, non-burning saline spray helps alleviate nasal allergies, dryness, post-nasal drip and congestion from the common cold or flu. Hypertonic delivers over twice the concentration of saline as Isotonic. Pediatric provides a specially designed box for babies and children and the tip is same as our standard blue box tip. Please contact your physician before using on babies under 6 months.
Step 1: Insert tip of actuator into nostril and press gently until adequate volume has been sprayed and the nasal passages are moist.
Step 2: Repeat for the other nostril. For babies and children, do not insert nozzle beyond the flange. Use as often as needed to moisturize.
Advantages of Hypertonic Solution
Extra Strength*
Research shows that a Hypertonic (2.7%) or more concentrated solution may help reduce congestion better than an Isotonic (0.9%) solution. This is because a more concentrated salt solution will draw more water out of the congested tissue, reduce swelling and open up the nasal passages and sinus openings to allow for better drainage. It is possible that you may experience temporary burning or stinging with the Hypertonic solution. If this persists, please use our Isotonic spray.
WARNINGS:
System designed for single user to reduce the risk of contamination.
Do not completely block or occlude nasal passage during use to avoid any pressure in the nose or ears.
Keep out of reach from children.
Contents under pressure, please do not puncture or incinerate.
Store between 41 °F (5 °C) & 131 °F (55 °C), out of sunlight & away from heat sources. Avoid freezing
Consult physician before use on babies younger than one year.
*As compared to isotonic solution

Specially Designed Nozzles to deliver the finest and most gentle mist for nasal moisturization, a special adapter for nasal & sinus large volume rinse and a medium tip for a stronger stream. For ages 1 year and above with use of the proper tip.
Ultra Gentle Mist Tip for Nasal Moisturization: This tip can be used for ages 1 and up for moisturizing and soothing dry nasal passages. Insert the Ultra Gentle Mist Tip (no more than flange level) into nostril and press until adequate solution is sprayed.
Medium Tip: This tip can be used for ages 5 and up. This tip will deliver a medium volume jet that can reach deeper into the nasal passages but not into sinuses.
Large Volume Rinse Tip for Nasal & Sinus Rinse: This tip can be used for ages 5 and up. This tip can deliver solution into entire nasal passage as well as some of the sinuses. Apply the special conical lavage (Dr. Mehta’s Patented LVLP) tip and follow the instruction in next paragraph.
Special Instructions for Large Volume Rinse: Stand in front of a sink, bend forward to comfort level and tilt your head down. Keep your mouth open and, without holding your breath, place the tip snugly in the nostril and squeeze the actuator until the solution starts draining from the opposite nasal passage or from your mouth. Allow the flow to continue for 2 to 3 seconds. Do not swallow the solution. To avoid pressure on your eardrums, blow your nose gently, without pinching your nose completely. If tolerable, sniff in any residual solution remaining in the nasal passage once or twice prior to blowing your nose. This may clean out the posterior nasopharyngeal area, which is the area at the back of your nasal passage. At times, some solution may reach the back of your throat. If so, please spit it out.
To help improve drainage of any residual solution, blow your nose gently while tilting your head to the side. Now repeat these steps on your other nasal passage.

Purpose of the device
NeilMed Naspira- Oral Suction Aspirator is the world's most uniquely designed nasal aspirator system for effective suctioning of baby's congested nose.
Key Features:
- Transparent design.
- Safe for babies & toddlers
- Included 7 in-line disposable filters to reduce contamination risk
- Components pull apart for easy cleaning
- 2-in-1 design allows for use as both a bulb and an aspirator
- Lifetime warranty
- Made of high-grade silicone
- Dishwasher safe (excluding disposable filters)
Safety Features:
- Tip is made of silicone and is very soft to the touch.
- One-way valve prevents air from the parent's mouth from entering the baby's nose.
- Disposable filter will prevent liquid or mucus from entering the parent's mouth.
- The transparent design allows for easy inspection of the components.
- The transparent design reduces the amount of fungal growth found in opaque bulb aspirators.
- The suction tip, clear plastic coupler, bulb, tubing and mouthpiece can be sterilized by first cleaning them with liquid dishwashing detergent soap and water, followed by placing cleaned device parts in boiling water for five minutes or by using a microwave disinfection protocol as provided in the cleaning and sterilizing instructions.
- The tip is sized so that it will not enter the baby's nasal cavities and cause injury.
Note:
While the Naspira® NOA is dishwasher safe, a dishwasher will not adequately clean the inside of the Naspira® components. The water jets in dishwashers cannot enter the narrow parts of the Naspira® components, and portions of the interior will not be cleaned thoroughly.
Note: Filter is disposable and cannot be used once contaminated after the use. This makes it safe for all and please do not try to sterilize or wash.
Please read the warning prior to use. If you are using it for the first time, please make sure that you have assembled it properly as shown in the diagram and all the parts are intact and clean.
Click here for Cleaning & Sterilization Instructions
Directions For Use:
1. Hold the baby in an upright to semi-upright position, well secured in your arms, and be sure that the baby is comfortable.
2. Place the tip of the bulb into the baby's nostril and suck very gently through the mouthpiece, as if you are drinking a liquid from a straw. If needed, you can always use more suction force. The mouthpiece is a one-way valve and will not allow you to blow into the baby's nose.
3. A pre-treatment with a few drops of saline solution or saline spray in each nostril may help loosen thick mucus before using the NeilMed® Naspira® Nasal-Oral Aspirator (NOA). Mucus from the baby's nostrils will come out very easily and transfer mainly to the tip, and if excessive, into the bulbous area during suctioning.
4. Repeat the previous steps in the same and/or the other nostril as necessary.
5. Please follow the cleaning and disinfection protocol for the safety of yourself and your baby.
6. Change filter if it is soiled with secretions or after the acute infection is over or every week during use.
Cleaning & Sterilization Instructions::
Disassemble all components.
1. Pinch the opening of the tip with your thumb and index finger.
2. Squeeze the bulb with your thumb and index finger of other hand so the quick increase in air pressure will separate the parts.
3. Take apart the remaining components by pulling apart the ends. Remove the filter and set aside prior to cleansing. The filter cannot be cleaned or sterilized, but can be reused if it has not come into contact with mucus.
Wash all loose components with warm dishwashing liquid detergent followed by thorough rinsing with clean water. Shake off excess water.
To disinfect, choose one of three methods:
1. Boiling Disinfection: Place all components in boiling water for 5 minutes. Allow the water to cool completely before removing the components from the water. Shake off excess water. Allow all components to cool and air dry before reassembling. Use lint free towels to dry the outside of parts and allow it to air dry the inside of the components.
2. Microwave Disinfection: Clean all components with soap and water as mentioned above, shake off the excess water. Now place all components in the microwave for 45 seconds. This will disinfect all components. Please make sure all components are near dry before placing in the microwave.
3.Chemical Disinfection: In some countries, where available, use baby bottle disinfecting chemical tablets or solution, and use the same protocol.
Note: the filter is disposable and should be replaced if it comes into contact with mucus, or after the child's acute illness episode ends. Do not attempt to sterilize and reuse the filter.
Can also be used as a single bulb aspirator
Filter is not resterilizable.
While the Naspira® NOA is dishwasher safe, a dishwasher will not adequately clean the inside of the Naspira® components. The water jets in dishwashers cannot enter the narrow parts of the Naspira® components, and portions of the interior will not be cleaned thoroughly.

It is very important to keep these devices clean and free from any contamination. Replace the bottle every 3 months.
NeilMed® SINUS RINSE™ Squeeze Bottle: Please perform routine inspections of the bottle and tube for any discolorations and cracks. If there are any visual signs of deterioration or permanent color changes, please clean thoroughly. If the discolorations remain after cleansing, discard the items and purchase new ones. Please follow these instructions after each use of the product. Be sure to replace your product after three months.
Step 1: Rinse the cap, tube and bottle using running water. Fill the bottle with distilled, micro-filtered (through 0.2 micron), reverse osmosis filtered, commercially bottled or previously boiled and cooled down water at lukewarm or body temperature.
Step 2: Add a few drops of dish washing liquid or baby shampoo.
Step 3: Attach the cap and tube to the bottle; hold your finger over the opening in the cap and shake the bottle vigorously.
Step 4: Squeeze the bottle hard to allow the soapy solution to clean the interior of the tube and the cap. Empty out the bottle completely.
Step 5: Rinse the soap from the bottle, cap and tube thoroughly and place the items on a clean paper towel to dry or use the preferred NasaDOCK® or NasaDOCK plus™.
The NasaDOCK® is a simple, hygienic way to dry and store the SINUS RINSE™ bottle, cap and tube. NasaDOCK® comes with various hanging options and is available in different colors. Our newest model also offers storage for our SINUS RINSE™ mixture packets. We strongly suggest using NasaDOCK® as an inexpensive, easy way to dry the cap, tube and SINUS RINSE™ bottle.
Dishwasher Cleaning:
Do not use a dishwasher to clean the inside of a bottle. While our bottle is dishwasher safe, a dishwasher will not adequately clean the SINUS RINSE™ bottle. The water jets in dishwashers cannot enter the narrow neck of the bottle, and portions of the bottle's interior will not be cleaned thoroughly. Additional methods of cleaning the bottle include the use of concentrated white vinegar or isopropyl alcohol (70% concentration), followed by scrubbing and rinsing as described above.
Microwave Disinfection:
Clean the device with soap and water as mentioned above and shake off the excess water. Now place the bottle, cap and tube in the microwave for 40 seconds. This will disinfect the bottle, cap and tube. If the microwave has been used recently, please make sure that the inside of the microwave has cooled back down to room temperature before using it to disinfect the bottle.
NeilMed NasaFlo® Neti Pot Users:
Use the same procedure as above.
Sinugator® Cleaning Directions:
Clean the Sinugator® by running plain water and dry with a clean lint free towel and then air dry the unit by keeping it open to the air. The nasal irrigator tip, blue reservoir and white soft tube can be disinfected by cleaning with soap and water and shaking off the excess water before placing in the home microwave for 60 seconds. Clean the entire unit with a few drops of dishwashing liquid and water every three days to keep the unit clean. As a fi nal rinse to wash off any residual soap or tap water, use either distilled, micro-filtered (through 0.2 micron filter), commercially bottled or previously boiled & cooled down water. Please make sure to rinse thoroughly during each wash so no soap is left behind. DO NOT place the white motor unit in microwave for disinfection. Because of the unit's stainless steel components, this can cause damage or fire hazards.
General Principles of Maintenance & Storage:
When permissible use a microwave periodically to disinfect devices. Always store NeilMed® products in a cool and dry place with adequate ventilation. NasaDOCK® or NasaDOCK plus™ offer a simple hygienic way to air dry & neatly store the bottle, cap, tube and NasaFlo. Do not store the bottle with the cap screwed on, unless both are dry. Do not store the wet parts in a sealed plastic bag. If you travel before they are dry, wrap parts separately in paper towels. Hand soap or shampoo can be used for cleaning parts while away from home.
