the salt packets I buy seem to come in two different sizes - a square packet and a larger one. Is there a difference in the amount of salt in these two? Why are they different? Author: jane Doyle There is no difference between the square blue packets and rectangular blue packets. There are logistics reasons for the differences and the amount of solution in each one is the same. Please make sure to mix blue packet in the 8 oz. of water, green packet in 16 oz. of water.
