Will sinus rinsing clear up infection or do I need antibiotics? Author: janet If the infection is viral or mild bacterial, in our experience we have found that the symptoms may clear up with daily or twice daily sinus rinsing. However if you have an acute bacterial infection you may not get full relief and should consult with your physician about medical treatment.
