Would usage of Sinus Rinse and nasal irrigation prevent ear infection in children? Author: Janna A lot of ear infections can start after nasal, sinus and throat infections. We have heard from several physicians that preventing nasal, sinus and throat infection may reduce ear infections. There is not enough medical literature available at this time to confirm this.
